I have researched your company as a potential candidate to perform a custom cast iron work for us. I represent a contractor from NYC, who performs variety of renovation and construction work here in the city.
I am inquiring about services for cast iron work for one of our projects. The scope of the work includes replicating an old design and creation of new fence, balcony, window guards, bollards, etc.
I’m not sure whether or not this is the type of work you perform, or whether or not you would be able to perform that work, but I can send you more information regarding this project such as the drawings and pictures if requested, so you can reference what I’m asking for and better visualize it. I imagine that the best way to perform this type of work would be by making the casts by using already existing pieces in the surrounding structures on site, as we will not be permitted to take anything off the site. This would greatly reduce the time of fabrication. I do not know the type of methods you use to have the casts done on site, but I am told by local fabricators that it is possible. Upon your fabrication, the material would have to be shipped here, and we would be responsible for the installation. Again, we can assist in any coordination that this job entails.
Please advise whether or not this work is to your interest, what would be a potential procedure to do this, and approximately what would the timing to perform such work be? As you can imagine, time is always crucial on variety of projects. Once you review the drawings and pictures, we can discuss the budget.
Thank you for your help and interest in this project.
