Do the Poles like learning languages?

Recently learning foreign languages is very popular in Poland. In my opinion, Poles love getting to know new things, also connected to other countries. Why do I think that we like learning languages?
Firstly, it is very visible that we expend lots of money for learning languages. Parents very often send their children to English courses. Schools attach great importance to teaching languages. Even the elders learn foreign languages with pleasure – wise people always want to develop.
In addition, a proof for a fact, that we learn foreign languages intensively, is a great amount emigrating Poles. To live in other country we have to know at least basics of the national language.
What is more, Poles often learn English unwittingly, for example using the computer or expand their knowledge about technologies. The special vocabulary from computer environment easily comes into use.
Despite the fact, that a part of society still stays censorious for new trends, most of Poles know the benefits from learning foreign languages . We’re aware of the fact, that being educated is really needed in 21st century. Employers look for workers knowing English, German or Russian. Command of basic phrases in different languages is indispensable in the world of business, science or culture. When we know foreign languages we can travel without problems. And that’s only a few advantages.
All in all, I’m really sure that 21st century is the time of development – also in sphere of languages. The Poles love showing their erudition - learning foreign languages is a good way for that! In my opinion it’s the positive occurrence.

Mi się podoba :) Zauważ…yłem drobne (moim zdaniem) błędy. Najczęściej spotykany: w angielskim nie stawiamy przecinka przed "that" w znaczeniu "ż…e".
