Subject of today introduction is new game, Need for Speed: Shift
Game was released 15th October 2009 by Electronic Arts on PC’s, Xbox360’s and PS3’s.

Game is very realistic, we can choise level of damage system, driving assistance or even color of stickers on window. Game has a lot of cars to drive. In game we are beginner rally driver. For achieve on track we get ‘profile points’ and ‘stars’. For stars we rise on tier. Then tier is bigger then we have better cars, hardest races. For profile points we get new profile levels, for them we get sponsorship cash, new tuning options. We can also play with friends through Internet . Races in game are divided on: normal race, 1 on 1 race, sponsorship race and drift.

In normal race we duel beetween from 3 to even 16 opponents. Who drive behind final line first, win race.

1 on 1 race is duel between only two racers. In first round we start a few second before our opponent. In second round we start a few second after our opponent. Who win two rounds win race. If score of two riders is equal, third round is start. This time two racers start at same time.

Sponsorship race is normal race, is difference to normal race, only that we drive car given by sponsor.

Drift is atypical ‘race’. Drift is a controlled slip. We drift for points, who get most points after 3 rounds win.
