The explorer Dawid Livingstone was born in Scotland in 1813. At the one of ten, he was sent to work in the local cotton factory. His working day began at six o'clock in the morning and didn't end by eight o'clock in the evening. David Livingstone was a young man, he became interested in missionary work. On November 20, 1840, he sailed along Africa to work in a settlement. Once there, he become very popular (i tutaj nie mam pomysłu) the natives, treating them to rquals. With their help, he travelled across the great continent of Africa. On his travels, he made many discoveries. On one exciting journey, he came across to great Victoria Waterfall. By the end of his life Livingstone was overworked and in poor health. He died in April 1873, in a small village in Africa.
