Witam! Bardzo proszę o pomoc, tj. sprawdzenie moich wypocin na takowy temat: "Appearances are deceptive. Do you agree with that statement?"
Appearances are deceptive. It happens for us to hear this particular sentence quite often.
But is it so easy to decide stright away whether we agree with that statement or not? Is it even possible to say a clear yes or even much clearer no to that thesis or maybe it's a little bit more blurred?
I personally stand by this sentence, but not entirely.
To begin with, we live in the century when beeing completly truthful and honest is no longer such popular.
If we're not faking, then at least we're afraid of showing our real face so we keep pretending.
But of course as always, there must be a deviation from the rule and I believe some real people still exist.
In addition, more and more youths think that the appearance is the most important thing and a main factor in beeing judged by others. That's way they stop to create themselves however they like and start to generate
something new. Something that society would prefer to see.
On the other hand, a lot of people still want to believe that what we present outside is always a reflection of who we are inside.
And that appearances are not deceptive at all, unless we are fakers. In that case above thesis would sound:
"Appearances can be deceptive" and I must say, I'm the closest to this statement.
Though it looks like the excat same, as a matter of fact, it is not.
To sum up, sometimes it's hard to say whether someone is not beeing fake. But the longer we live and the longer we're dealing with people and their faces we're getting an ability of good judgement.
And in my humble opinion this skill is a key to every misleading situation with people and their various countenances.
Z góry dziękuję!:)
