Some people believe that living in the block of flats is better than living in a detached house. However, others take the opposite view. But both of of these places can be have advantages and disadvantages.
The main argument in support of living in a detached house is that you can have your own space and a more freedom. However, lives in the block of flats is less comfortable. There is shared entrance and stairs. You can meet neighbours anytime and it would be embarrassing.
What is more, you can have your own backyard and garden around your detached house. It is very convenient. Unfortunately, in block of flats you haven't this opportyunity. You can have plot, but it is usually out of town.
In addition, a detached houe is more safe for children. They cannot meet some strange dangerous person. And in block of flats neighbours are not always a good and a nice people. It is more unsafe.
On other hand, in block of flats must not worry about heating. However, in detached house you must take care to maintain proper temperature in house. Also you must house keeping around the house yourself.
Although living in block of flats is simpler I feel that living in detached house is more comfortable and free. I firmly believe that a lot of people wish to live in the house away from the neighbours.
