You don't have to use use a plural form - it's a general meaning.

He works AT the weeknds is incorrect. You can say he works at the office, he works at the factory, or he works on his project during the weekends, but not he works at the weekends. You would only say "AT" the weekends if "The Weekends" was a place where this person was employed. To say "I work at the weekends" is incorrect.

If you say "Richard and Mark have a job to do", then you could use the singular form because then it is a general meaning. Or you can say "they have a full time job organizing this campaign" if they both are working on the SAME job towards the same goal. If they are employed and each has a job (meaning employment), it will be jobs, plural. This is different from Polish so it might be confusing but this is the correct form.

I would say "My husband and I have jobs", and "My husband and I have a full time job taking care of our business".
