It seems that there is no difference between barbecued and grilled, but there is. What is that difference?, help me

Grilling is cooking food directly over a heat source. The food is cooked for just a few minutes on a hot, open grill.
Barbeque is cooking "low and slow" over indirect heat, with lots of smoke.

grilling; - this term is mainly used to describe cooking without oil, in it's own juices and can be done over any heat source indoors or out, whilst barbequing is allways done outside
