Why do we consider the horse a noble animal - konkretnie chodzi nam o zwierze gatunku kon, oraz koncept szlachetnego zwierzecia. Jakbys napisala "the noble animal" to by znaczylo ze to jest to jedne, jedyne szlachetne zwierze, bez innych mozliwosci.


The use of a chimney is to carry the smoke from the fire up into the air and away from the house - "a chimney" bo po polsku jak napiszesz "kominki sa po to, zeby...", to tez mowisz ogolnie o kominkach a nie o tylko jednym konkretnym. "the smoke" from "the fire" poniewaz mowimy juz konkretnie o dymie i ogniu, ktore sa w kominku, a nie na przyklad na polu kampingowym. "the air" - tak jak the earth, the sun, the moon, konkretnie jedno. "the house" poniewaz mowimy o konkretnym domu, ktory ma kominek, a nie na przyklad zielonym albo z garazem.

Hm, jest "the other", "the others", ale z samym "others" (nie "other") jakos nie moge wymyslec zdania. Samo "other" to jest "drugi, inny", "the other" czy "the others" to konkretnie mowimy kiedy porownujemy np. dwie rzeczy i mowimy o tej drugiej.

Take him to court znaczy podac do sadu, take him to the court to znaczy kogos wziasc do budynku sadowego lub konkretnego miejsca, w ktorym sad sie odbywa.

"the Polish law" poniewaz mowimy konkretnie o polskim prawie a nie prawie ogolnie

Takie prawdziwe, instynktowne zrozumienie przedimkow przychodzi z praktyka. Nie pisz, ze nigdy nie zrozumiesz, tylko staraj sie zobaczyc w zdaniach jak jest i troche myslec po angielsku. Pozdrawiam.
