Hurry up! everybody's waiting (everybody / wait) for you
That is correct and I wanted to wrote in this way, but 'everybody' = many people istead one person so why "is"?
past continuous
The doorbell rang while I was having a bath
jessica fell asleep while she's mobile phone was calling
I met (meet) Tom and Jane at the airport a few weeks ago. They went(go) to Paris and I went(go) to Rome. We are having(have) a chat while we waited (wait) for our flights
correct
met ... were going ... was going ...
had ... were waiting I waited
Why I should use past cont. in second sentence? Because this situation was while meeting?
Why I sould use past simple in third sentence?
If I made any mistakes of my attempt explain what I think. I'd like to you correct me
