Thank you for your letter. You asked me about the good place to visit. Well, there is a beautiful place in the south of Poland – it is Krakow.
The best thing to do would be to go there by train. It’s the quickest way to get there and also comfortable. In the town you can get around by bus, on foot or by taxi which is easier if you don’t know the place well.
As for places to stay, I think you ought to try a hotel. Most of them can be expensive but they’re really excellent and I’m sure they would up to your demands.
Krakow is very colourful, crowded town and it’s teeming with life. It is famous for Wawel which is situated by the Wisła river. You should also visit St. Maria Church with well-known Wit Stwosz altar and Sukiennice where you can buy some souvenirs.
The weather in winter is very cold, cloudy and windy so bring warm winter overcoat, scarf and gloves. Also it might be an idea to buy a hat.
I hope this helps. Hope to hear from you soon.
