In my opinion Cracow is the most popular and fascinating city in Poland. This city in the past was capital city, where seat Polish king. That is the reason why in this historic city is plenty of splendid old building, monuments, architecture e.g. the Royal Castle Wawel, St. Mary's Church where we can admire famous on whole world wooden altar carved by Wit Stwosz. Here we also can visit the oldest museum in Poland - Czartoryski Museum – where are founded the most valuable treasures of art e.g. Lady with an Ermine painted by Leonardo da Vinci, Landscape with Good Samaritan painted by Rembrandt van Rijn. But Cracow is also a vibrant city. Here is situated the oldest University in Poland but he is also the best University in Poland which educates over 46,000 students. This city evolve in this direction. Here we are over 300 pubs, a lot of restaurant and cafes on The Old Town. It all makes that Cracow is the cultural capital of Poland.
