On Thursday, in my class had a debate on the topic:
"It is important to remember a soldier who died during the war." It was attended by 10 people.
The debate began Paulina, who presented the thesis.
The group supporting the thesis was Agatha, Angelika and Natalia, while in the group with the thesis niezgardzającej: Barry, Dominic and Monica.
The first speaker in the group which approve was Natalia. Her group presented good arguments. Everyone does something in society, and everyone will say that znas nearly perished for their country but when come to this moment, few people would decide to do that. And so it is worth remembering about those people who died for us so we can live in a free country. They did not have and did everything to be better. This memory is not compulsory, but someone who has a little conscience, will remember these people.
The first speaker in the group nagujących was Barry. Her group also presented a good case.
According to them, not worth to remember them because we have no influence on what was kiedys. To happened in the past and that we will remember them nothing will change. For today's generation, it means nothing. Defending the homeland that was their job like any other. Dominic gave a final speech.
The judges were: Angelika, Katherine and Olga. According to them the best group was a group that did not agree with the thesis, as presented better arguments. The best speaker was Barry. Najdzielniej defended the opinion of their group.
I think that the judges' decision was correct, and with it, of course, disagree. The losing group, was much less prepared to debate and not be expressed clearly in some areas. They had even prepared a final speech.
