Summary
Electronic banking is a relatively new form of banking, but it is developing very dynamically. This form offers a range of services to consumers, SMBs and large enterprises that are not able to offer by traditional banking. This work was primarily dedicated to problems of electronic banking in the individual customers segment.
The main objective of this study was to evaluation the development of electronic banking services market in Poland. The work also details the partial objectives such as: the extent of the use of channels and electronic banking products, evaluation of products and services of electronic banking in view of user opinions and to identify the prospects and directions of development of electronic banking.
Research has shown that this market is growing very dynamically which results in increasing numbers of customers. Products and electronic banking services are becoming more widely used. By respondents in the study of electronic banking services have been evaluated positively Best estimated ingredient of banks offer was the price of services. Electronic banking users are usually people in a relatively young age, living in the city. The research group was dominated by women, who also had higher graduates in relation to men. A large part of respondents use electronic banking more than 4 years and mostly from one bank offering this form of banking. Customers expect in the future, especially to reduce prices of services and products and more opportunities adapt products and services to the customer. When choosing a specific institution respondents normally follow the reputation of institutions and price of services offered, but when choosing a product, the simplicity of its use. During the comparative assessment of traditional banking and electronic banking, it was noted that each form has its advantages and disadvantages.
