Introduction
The aim of this report is to describe how computers are changing Americans' lives and how they feel about it. I interviewed two hundred people to find out their views.
The ways computers change people's lives
Most Americans claim that thanks to these devices the can:
- find any information they need
- communicate quicker and cheaper
- relax (playing games or surfing the Internet).
However, a few people think the computer have a bad effect on humans' relationships. They believe that nowadays Americans prefer writing e-mails to talking face to face.
Americans' feelings about the recent changes
Three most frequently given answers were:
- computers made their lives easier
- they saved their time
- they helped them develope their interests.
Conclusion
To sum up, in today's world computers are very important for Americans. Most of the interviewed people claim they are happy about them.These devices cause many changes but in my opinion most of them are positive.
