Purpose
The aim of this proposal is to present our conceptions of how we would spend the money if you
accepted our application.
Present condition
As your offer is directed to multiethnic schools our institution is a adequate candidate that fulfils your requirements. At the moment foreign students constitute approximately 50% of all teenagers in our school. It's obvious that such a big number of emigrants involves a huge variety of religions and traditions.
Our plans
We would like to arrange a course not only for our students, but also directed to their families and friends. We are planning to a set of weekly "cultural nights". These would include projections of films and sales of books from the country that is being a topic of our night, a short history lesson and also some traditional food tasting. The financial support would allow us to borrow some films and perhaps even national costumes for instance from the theatre or to buy some national snacks. It is our ardent wish that these events would be free, hence you would have opportunity to dispatch your observer who might control our exploitation of granted funds.
Desired effects
If we received your assistance you would contribute to significant increase of familiarity with different customs among youth which could lead to considerable diminution of acts of violence caused by the persecution of national and religious minorities. Fortunately, such incidents have never take place in our school and we believe that owing to our conceptions will never happen. Moreover, these activity might encourage not only incoming foreigners but also local young people to enrol in our school and broaden their horizons.
