What are the pros and cons of being an only child? There are few options about this subject. Some child are feel good without a siblings others wishes about having a brother or sister. There is some adventages and disadventages about being an only child.
Children tend to learn from each other social skills, behaviour. What is more, an only child is often the apple of parents eye. They are characterised as spoiled, selfish sometimes lonly. But it is not all. Being an only child means feeling great preassure to succeed from their parents and having no one to help them care for their elderly parents. Apart from this, there is no-one else to blame if you get into trouble. Furthermore you have to organised things if you want someone to play with when you are at home.
What about the pros? Children are the center of attention, they have more provancy and they can have very strong relationship with their parents. Moreover you do not have to share the room, computer and others things. No one disturbings you. You are family pet and getting all parential love.
To sump up, being an only child has many adventages and disadventages. In my mind the only benefit a single child can get is a better oporutunity if resources are scares enough to threaten basic needs. Apart from this children need companionship from persons their own age.
