GRAMMAR

Warto przyjrzeć się rzadkiej konstrukcji użytej w poniższym zdaniu:

Yours is a good life

Po pierwsze zaczyna się ono od zaimka dzierżawczego. Ta forma zaimka (mine, yours, his, hers, ours, theirs) spotykana jest najczęściej w zdaniach, gdzie opuszczamy rzeczownik (It is mine!), albo w przydawce (a friend of theirs).

Po drugie, po zaimku dzierżawczym zastosowano inwersję, tak jak na przykład w zdaniach rozpoczynających się od „so”, „such”, „little”.
