Silly-boy Adam Sandler has finally ended his unusually painful streak of bad comedies and paired up with Jack Nicholson in a movie that allows viewers to sit through the entire showing without feeling that a dentist's office would be a far more pleasant place to spend an hour and a half. Sandler is Dave Buznik, a man sentenced to anger management treatment after a row with airline personnel turns ugly. His psychotherapist is Dr. Buddy Rydell (Nicholson), who manages to fill the screen with something poor Adam will never have - a sense of humour. The first part of the movie is watchable, but anyone who isn't a fan of root-canal surgery is advised to leave before Sandler is let loose in the second half.
