The massive success of the new Star Trek movie, starring Chris Pine as Captain Kirk, is the explanation for the sudden appearance of this entirely disposable movie from 2006, in which the then-unknown Pine played Danny, a young, dishy, blind guy looking for love. The standard of acting and directing is at a very low ebb, and as Danny's therapist, Jane Seymour bafflingly and embarrassingly reprises the horny-older-woman routine she showed us in the Owen Wilson/Vince Vaughn comedy Wedding Crashers. Please don't do this to us, Jane.
